Hello scrap land, hope you all are staying warm! Me personally I am so tired of winter. The cold and I do NOT mix well! Hopefully spring hurries, that's always my favorite time of year. But for now I'll just keep hibernating inside with my children. I love snuggling up with them. Who is your snuggle bug? One of my CT girlies Megan sent me the most adorable picture of her two boys snuggled up on the couch.

New Kit: Nature Boy

Ok I know I know it's been pretty quiet around here but I've been having a lot of RL issues with DS and getting him ready for kindergarten next year. He's having to transition a lot and it takes a toll on us all when his schedule is changed so I haven't had much time on the computer but hopefully that can change soon. I did manage to get the most adorable picture ever of him though (not that I'm biased) and wanted to show him off a little.... Plus I'm having a lot of fun with my new Cannon XSI!

And I did manage to get a kit ready for ya'll and I am so excited to show it off today! It's actually a collab with Julie Marie Designs! Hey guys I know I've become a little quiet lately. April is such a big month for us. With Easter, my birthday, school ending and getting all of DS's schooling info ready for next year it's just been one crazy whirlwind after another. Then to boot my PSP program quit working and it took me weeks to get it working again! So I haven't been able to scrap or design much at all but I'm headed in the right direction to get back on track!

Ok so the reason for blogging today is to tell you all about all the happenings over at the Inspiration Lane forum. Return of the Donation Kit

So when I first started designing, as some of you who have been with me for awhile might remember, I started out just having donation kits on my blog. Well I've decided to bring them back ya'll and I am super excited about this! I know how hard times are around the country (and even the world) and this is kind of my way to help out so that you all can get kits at a price that works for you and everyone is happy!

The way this works is I will put up a kit for sale on my blog along with a paypal button that you can use to send in your donation for the kit. Once you have completed your transaction through paypal you will then be forwarded to a page where you will find the download links for the kit. That's it! No waiting for links, or queued orders etc. Simple enough right!? Ok so onward to the kit then.

A whole new look....

Ok so the makeover isn't totally finished yet but lookin good right!? When I set out to make my next kit I ran across these colors and as I was making the kit, I just fell in love! Well I don't know about you all but I am sooooo happy the holiday season is coming to an end and things can start to get back to normal! Our routiene has just been thrown off something so terrible and I'm ready to get back on track. I've been working on a few things "behind-the-scenes" and I got a ton of news to share with you all!!!

First off I have finally gotten a new store up! I have been accepted at The Digi Boutique! I'm so happy to be there and feel free to go check out my new store! Sigh.....you would think that during this time of year, a time to be thanful and jolly and concentrate on family, that you wouldn't have childish drama going on in the online world. But sadly, I guess some people really have nothing better to do. Thank you for everyone who notified me about my links to the store not working, yes I am aware. The owner shut it down due to some drama which had nothing to do with me (or most other designers at the store) but sadly we are all suffering. So in the mean time I am hunting out other stores and am on the verge of signing with a new one so please sit tight, I will update you all with new links as soon as I can! Gosh this time of year is so busy! I've only got half of my shopping done and can't seem to get ANY time to sit at the computer and scrap or design! We also just got a new dell that came a few days ago and this Windows Vista is gonna take some getting use to (I want my XP back!) So that along with having to transfer all my files and install all of my new programs and what not I haven't been able to get much done at all!

All aboard the Sugar Shoppe Train!!!

Hey all the ADS Designers have a sweet collab for you this time around! Introducing Sugar Shoppe! Woo hoo! There are 55 of us this time so I hope you all are ready to sit at your computers for awhile! Before I show you what my part looks like I have to give you a little background story.....

My then 5 year old (her b-day was last weekend) loves watching me design on the computer. She is a very artistic girl and is CONSTANTLY drawing. LOL She always says "I'm a paper artist and Mommy is a computer artist." Isn't that cute? So then when she saw me working and making this kit she sat on the floor behind me and drew my kit on paper!! This is what she came up with:

Isn't it cute!? That was HER version of Sugar Shoppe. So when she showed me that picture there was NO way I couldn't add it into my kit! Here's what I did with her "whip cream with a cherry on top."

So some of you might like it some of you may not but with 55 other designers you're still sure to get a nice collection for this kit! LOL Sorry I'm just always a "proud mama." Anyways here is my part of this MAJOR collab:

Hey all! I know I have been MIA this month but RL has really been a pain in the you know what! LOL! I'm having tooth and gum problems and I swear I've never know pain like this! Ugh it's unbearable. And the Vicodin they have me doped up on makes me feel like crap too. I thought meds were supposed to help!

Anyway so please bear with me while I wait until I'm really thinking more clearly to get back into the swing of things. It's been a crazy couple of months! But the good new is I have an exciting freebie for you all today! I'm not going to have a donation kit for September so I will just keep the Lullaby Lambs kit up until I can get something else completed. Here’s a layout I did using this kit... Layton sometimes gets to be really hard to deal with throughout the day. A lot of times I'm so exhausted from dealing with one of his fits that I'm ready to rip my hair out! It's been a lot worse lately for some reason...However when he falls asleep, I see this little boy who is so sweet and calm....I forget all about that nasty hard day we just had!

It's here it's here!!! So Anne of Creative Dreams and her absolutely amazing daughter Tiana have organized this wonderful charity kit "Ocean Friends"! Me and over 25 other designers all contributed to make this an awesome kit! I cant even begin to tell you how much fun I am having playing with my new grab bag by Tracey Monet, Tracy King, and Phuong Ton at Scrapbook Elements!

I have made some pretty fun LO's using it. We went to Pensacola Beach last summer and this grab bag fit it perfectly! Look at how fun these are:

1. I LOVE LOVE LOVE reality TV shows! LOL I'm a goober

2. I adore Monkeys! They are my fav! I spent my whole childhood wishing I had one as a pet.

3. I just bought a brand new car, a silver Chrysler 300, and I am ABSOLUTELY in love!!! I am really having fun driving around.

4. While I'm on the subject of driving around you will most definately catch me in the car belting out tunes on the radio!!! I love to sing and I know people in other cars MUST look at me like I crazy lol!

5. I am a goofball!!! My kids and I spent all day singing goofy songs we make up on the spot and our days a full of "tickle fests"!!!

Hello all and welcome to my lil corner on the web. Seems like everyone is getting a blog these days and well, there are a lot of things I’m into that I really need a blog if I wanna do. I’m really into the PSP (Paint Shop Pro) world and tagging and digital scrapbooking in general. I absolutely love playing with pictures of my family and loved ones and am so glad that this craze has caught on and so many women around the world are getting into it! I belong to a few forums and groups and just love getting to know new people and getting help learning how to do things on my own.

I am a very busy mother of 2, my daughter is 5 and my son is 4. My son was diagnosed with Autism a little over a year ago and I feel like I’ve been on a roller coaster ride ever since just trying to cope with the diagnosis, along with the daily hardship of caring for this precious little boy whom I love very, very much. Extra curricular activities are abundant in my house, between my son’s therapies and my daughter’s sports (along with a full time job!) so don’t look for me to update this blog often, or even regularly. (Hence the name “Random Inspirations” lol.) I will from time to time offer any freebies I might make as I go along the road of digital creating. Comments from you all are very much encouraged and appreciated! Thank you for taking the time to stop by!
